Step 2:
We have to determine the Daily Design Flow (DDF). This is a calculation based on occupancy either by number of people or by the number of bedrooms and the square footage of the facility being serviced and is normally based on regulatory requirements.
Step 3:
Technical Site Assessment: This is where our Registered Onsite Wastewater Practitioner (ROWP), who is qualified in soil analysis and sewage treatment comes to your site and use a variety of methods to determine how capable the soil is of moving treated effluent (waste) through the soil for long term effluent dispersal.
Step 4:
We design a system for you adhering to the codes and regulations set out by the B.C. Government. We will design a system that is based on your unique needs determined by usage, environment, health, safety and your budget.
Step 5:
Once the design plan is completed we sit down with you to go over the details along with a project quote and details of installation.
Step 6:
We submit the required paperwork to the local health authority on your behalf.
Step 7:
We supervise the installation of your system to regulated standards.
Step 8:
We test the new system to ensure there are no problems. We will then present you with an operation and maintenance manual. The manual includes system drawings, system components and a maintenance plan. We then file a copy of this manual with the local health authority.
